Brown Bess Musket Raffle Fundraiser

The Battle Born Patriots (BBP) chapter, SAR, is excited to announce a raffle for a replica Revolutionary War musket generously donated by Compatriot Donn Dalton. This fundraiser supports our Liberty Prize program, with all proceeds going towards future BBP chapter grants for deserving students.

Event Details   

The drawing will take place during the Liberty Prize awards dinner on November 16, 2024, at the Reno Elks Lodge.

How to Participate

To secure a ticket, please send your donation and details to Jim McLane, our BBP Treasurer. Jim will record your contribution and notify David Hess, who will enter your name for the appropriate number of tickets. David will then provide you with your assigned ticket numbers.

During the drawing, each ticket number will correspond to a numbered ball in the raffle hopper. If all 300 tickets are sold, there will be 300 numbered balls. The hopper will be spun, and a single ball will be drawn to determine the winner.

Important Information

• Only 300 tickets will be sold.
• There is no limit to how many tickets you can purchase.
• Tickets are available to out-of-state donors, as the musket is not classified as a firearm under the 1968 GCA.
• Ticket sales close on November 16, 2024, or when all tickets are sold, whichever comes first.
